Playing on a great court is always challenging. Playing on two magnificent fields is to push the limits.
Antalya Golf Club is a true test of skill for the discerning golfer and is an excellent choice when played in conjunction with PGA Sultan and the Pasha. Both courses were designed by award-winning course designer and former professional golfer David Jones, and they complement each other wonderfully by offering up totally unique challenges designed to test your entire skillset.
The Pasha is also well-known for its stunning location. The course winds its way through crystal clear lakes and it borders the famous pine forests of the area, too many local animals, with the spectacular snow-capped Toros Mountains visible in the distance.
Players will be greeted with a mixture of wide fairways, open bays, challenging dog-legs, well-placed bunkers, tricky water hazards and rolling greens, and they will be required to play a smart game of golf if they wish to succeed.
The unique combination of different features means that this course offers a pleasant challenge to both high and low handicappers alike. In fact, the course will test all of your different skill sets, and can be considered as being a great warm-up course for the rest of your holiday!
The peace and tranquillity of this course are only ever broken by the occasional calls of the local Hoopoe birds, so is the perfect setting for a relaxing game of golf.
The course offers four different tees, including championship tees, meaning that the course is perfect for a range of different players.
The PGA Sultan has been designed with lower handicap golfers in mind. The course has hosted several major tournaments over the last 15 years and this course has been selected as the home of the Turkish PGA. Most visiting golfers relish the opportunity to test their skills in such a beautiful but challenging environment.
The PGA Sultan fits seamlessly into the Belek pine forest environment, and the course works well with natural features to create a tricky, albeit gratifying course. Local marshland has been transformed into beautiful, crystal-clear lakes, different local nimals, which act as water features on many of the holes.
Well-placed bunkers have also been cut into the landscape and must be negotiated to find the greens. These hazards will test your golfing skils.
Although the relatively flat 6477 metre, par 71 Pga Sultan course is easily walked, it is much harder to navigate your way around with a golf club. Each shot that is taken must be carefully considered, as many holes have classic risk/reward elements. If you can hold your nerve and display the right golf skills, then you can really succeed on the PGA Sultan.
